Lori Bruland, MD
Dr. Lori Bruland was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and later in her childhood moved to Redding, California. As an undergraduate, she attended UC Davis where she studied neurobiology (go Aggies!) and worked full time as an MCAT teacher and organic chemistry tutor. She then went on to Saint Louis University School of Medicine where she earned both her M.D. and M.B.A., and also served as her medical school class Co-President. Afterwards, she returned to Central California to complete her residency training at the UC Davis Mercy Merced Residency Program.
Dr. Bruland moved to the Bay Area shortly after completing residency. She enjoys nocturnist medicine given its many unique opportunities and challenges. She has worked with PHA since 2018.
Dr. Bruland currently lives in San Francisco and loves the city life (though traffic is not her favorite). In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, Fantasy Football, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
